More about Phoenix Gold Mine
  • Gold panning is included with every ticket. In cold weather you pan underground in a tank; in warm weather, in the creek.
  • Strollers are allowed, but the rails make some harder to push. The mine says single strollers with bigger rubber wheels work best.
  • Dogs are welcome on this tour if they're good with people and other dogs; owners sign a pet waiver.
  • The Centurion train and dark lantern tour is seasonal and doesn't run with snow on the tracks.
  • Photos are welcome; the mine asks that videos stay under 30 seconds.
  • Groups of 10 or more should book ahead.
  • Call 303-567-0422 to ask how the mine can meet your family's needs.
