Sensory help, in the zoo's words

“Stone Zoo is proud to be Sensory Inclusive Certified through our partnership with KultureCity.”

“Sensory bags with fidget tools, verbal cue cards, noise canceling headphones and other resources are available for checkout (at no cost by leaving an ID) at our admissions booths.”

  • The zoo names no quiet room, and re-entry isn't allowed, so the car is your break spot only if you're ready to leave.
  • ZooLights runs November 20 to January 3, 4 to 9:30 pm (last entry 8:30 pm), with paths of twinkling lights and a candy-themed Yukon Creek. Ticket prices change daily, time slots have limited space, and evenings may sell out. It isn't a sensory-friendly event.
  • Santa visits at ZooLights are 5 minutes, sold on-site, first come, first served, $5 per guest ages 2 and up. Meeting Santa is optional.
